About Us

A Long Shot represents two ideas we feel relate to our journey and may relate to yours, too.  

First, A Long Shot stands for the ultimate adventure. In our case, the ultimate adventure is to see the world and build a career along the way. No matter what your ultimate adventure is, it's going to be a long journey to achieving it. It's a long shot. 

Second, A Long Shot represents the likelihood others place on you achieving your dream. We always get asked about how we are able to travel. It requires a lot of planning and hard work, but we make it happen. So regardless of what is holding you back: finances,  lack of support, fear, etc., you still have the ability to make your dreams a reality. Even though it may be a long shot; take it. You may be one in a million.

The part of the team that focuses more on the planning and budgeting. Tends to go to great lengths to make sure everything is organized and in place. This can be annoying.

Katy

The part of the team that tends to focus more on logistical challenges once at the destination. Tends to wait until the destination is actually reached to figure out these challenges. This can also be annoying.
