There are so many options out there for getting good "travel deals". It can be hard to determine which ones to use, and trust! We have a few websites we rely on to help us find great deals and also just stay organized while traveling.
For Affordable Accommodation Use:
Aside from the obvious Airbnb and HomeStay, there are many sites to find budget friendly housing wherever you may be going. For a cheaper option, look on HostelWorld to find hostels, budget hotels, and a few price friendly home stays. You can use all the normal filters like price, location, and amenities. They also give you detailed ratings on everything from security, staff, and cleanliness. The most budget friendly option is probably HolidaySwap, at just $1 a night! The "catch" though is that you're literally swapping holidays. Someone from where you want to go comes to stay at your place while you stay at theirs. We haven't used this site, but it seems super cool and VERY budget friendly, if your comfortable with that.

Google Flights is awesome to use if you know where you want to go, exactly or just a general region. You can compare multiple flights through many different airlines, look at price charts, and track flights that you want to keep your eye on. The best website we've found for finding cheap flights, though, is Momondo! If you don't know where you want to go and you want to explore all your options, or if you want to see EVERY possible flight option for your trip, this is the sight to use. I recently booked one-way tickets to Europe for this summer for less than $500 with TWO checked bags!

They have suggested day plans, recommended places to eat and drink, emergency services contact information, tips on getting around, and everything else you can imagine, all in one spot. You can easily keep track of everything you want to see and do, plus they have a discounts section with great deals for tours, attractions, and local experiences! This one doesn't have an actual "website", it's just available to download on the iOS and Android app stores.
